The Spanish Bilingual Education Association was formed to support and grow Spanish bilingual programs in Lethbridge public schools. Additionally, the SBEA conducts engagement and fundraising activities that benefit the Spanish bilingual programs in Lethbridge, Alberta. 

Parents from West Coulee Station Elementary School and G.S. Lakie are invited to a one-time Intro to Speaking Spanish class on January 27, from 7:00–8:30 pm at West Coulee Station Elementary School, offering a fun, low-pressure way to learn some practical, everyday Spanish. 
West Coulee Principal Dean Hawkins will also be in attendance to learn alongside parents; the class is free with donations welcome in support of the Spanish Bilingual Education Association (SBEA) Community Fiesta. 
 Registration required. 

Starting on January 12, 2026, the Spanish Bilingual Kindergarten registration process will open.
